"Hi guys,
My son went to school with a boy named Heller Koch who passed way suddenly and unexpectedly last year at the age of 9. Heller left behind an important lesson: Be kind to others and go out of your way to make them feel special. Now his family is asking the community to remember Heller on the first anniversary of his death by doing simple, random acts of kindness...
...I haven't decided yet what I am going to do. I have a few ideas that I am kicking around. Maybe 1 or 2 of you will also do something. "
I hope that in some small way, we will be able to make a difference on behalf of Heller. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Heller's kindnesses inspired many on December 22nd. His family could not have asked for a more beautiful day filled with the joy of giving. We are so delighted with the response from the many many people who shared their kindnesses in Heller's memory.
