I received a call this morning from Andrea Carver, Heller's guidance counselor at Alafia Elementary School. She wanted to tell me that the students at Alafia have been working on their acts of random kindness in the past week. Ms. Carver has been making an effort to go into the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms to discuss random acts of kindness and how the children can perform these acts for others. The children have been making snowflakes to hang in the school lunch room to display their kindnesses. I will be stopping by today to deliver kindness cards to Ms. Carver for several people at the school, and hopefully to see their hard work in progress! I can't wait!
Thank you, Alafia Elementary School!
